Do you know the processing method of screws?
Screws, as indispensable industrial supplies in our daily life, have provided great help for our industrial production. From the perspective of application fields, screws are a great invention of mankind.
So what are the processing methods of screws? What are the advantages and disadvantages of these methods?
There are three ways of processing screws:
Material removal method to achieve the desired shape. Advantages: high processing accuracy, no lack of mold restrictions: high production costs, slow processing speed
The material is deformed by external force to achieve the desired shape. Advantages: fast production speed, low cost, suitable for mass production. Insufficient forming: limited by the mold, high cost for the mold
3. Cold heading Cold heading is a process of extruding and deforming a metal wire using an external force when the wire is not heated. The cold heading process is a type of forging process.
